Family Fun - Entertainment Farming

With a beautiful picnic area, a large creative playground, a farm animal corral and free hay rides, a visit to Andrews Scenic Acres is a pleasurable family occasion.

We have a full range of drinks and snacks in the shop or farm market so there is little need to bring food and drink to the farm unless for dietary considerations.

Starting September 15th we also have available our gently haunted forest, straw jump and cornmaze.  To cover the cost of these additional attractions, we charge $3.00 per person from September 15th to October 31st for admission to the fun farm area. The number one fall attraction continues to be the wagon ride to the pumpkin field where everyone can select their favourite pumpkin whether it is 5 or 80 pounds. There is no charge for entrance to the farm market and winery. 

On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays we operate our very popular B-B-Q. Available on the B-B-Q are large hotdogs, Oktoberfest sausages and veggie burgers. 

Starting later July or early August, we also have available hot buttered super sweet corn on the cob.  Our sweet corn is cooked in a turn of the century iron kettle formerly used for boiling maple syrup. There is nothing quite like Andrews super fresh, super sweet corn on the cob.

Special Harvest Seasons

• Milton District Hospital Auxiliary/Strawberry Fair - 3rd weekend in June at Milton Fairgrounds. Andrews Scenic Acres has supplied all of the luscious strawberries for this event for the past 28 years.

• Strawberry Festival/Pioneer Days - July 1st weekend

• Blueberry Bonanza/Super Sweet Corn - 2nd and 3rd weekends in August 

• Raspberry/Apple Days - September 

• Great Pumpkin Challenge - Throughout October.

• Haunted Forest, Straw Jump and Corn maze - September 15th to October 31st

Birthday Parties

Do your own birthday party. Parents are welcome to do their own birthday party for their children.  However, all birthday parties need to be booked with the birthday party/tour co-ordinator. With the exception of birthday cakes and special food needs, all food and drinks need to be purchased at the farm.

Mornings and late afternoons are quieter and are thus recommended times particularly during busy strawberry and pumpkin season. All family fun attractions are available to the birthday party participants. Please scroll down for further information on Birthday Parties.
